Our way of communication has drastically changed over the years. Back then a phone call or a snail mail was an adequate form of communication for those far away from each other. If you want to talk with your friends and catch up, all you had to do was call them up and in minutes you find yourselves meeting in a coffee shop or a fast food chain downtown, where you would enjoy the company of each other over a cup of coffee or over a large McDonald's French fries.

Time has truly brought out significant changes. Today, you don't need to go out of the house to catch up with your friends you can do it through text messaging or through social networking sites like Facebook and Friendster. Gone are the days that face to face communication is the in and appropriate thing.

Even the way we say sorry these days is through the techy mediums of communication of the present generation. Forgive Me SMS are quite common especially among teenage couples. This is quite baffling if you ask me. I mean, asking for forgiveness personally cannot equally compare to Forgive Me SMS messages.

Saying you're sorry face to face with the person you have done wrong makes it truer, more real, and more heartfelt. I mean, ever received a text from your boyfriend saying his sorry, but you have this contradicting feeling that it is not as genuine as it should have if it were said to you personally?

A lot of changes have truly come our way. Some are good, some undetermined and some are bad. But there are still some old ways that even the greatest technological advancement cannot replace such as saying sorry; saying I love you; Hugs and kisses - your computers, your IPods, or your cell phone can never say or do that those things to you.

This is a fast changing world but it is nice to know that there are still some things better left unchanged.
